ACS Composite Offers Unique Waterfall Storage for the C7 Corvette Coupe

Have you ever wished your C7 Corvette coupe had one of those nifty-looking waterfalls between the seats, the way the convertible does?

Well, the good folks at ACS Composite – who are well-known for their aero kits – have the answer for you, and their new product also increases the usefulness of the seventh-generation coupe.

While the C7 coupe does have 15 cubic feet of storage space behind the seats, it can be a hassle to get out of the car and raise the trunk lid to retrieve a needed item way out of arm’s reach.

That’s where the new Waterfall Compartment from ACS really shows its value.

Once the Waterfall Compartment is bolted in place using the two tie-down points in the C7’s trunk, it’s ready to use, with two storage compartments to hold items like passports, maps, change of clothes, guns, detailing products, tire compressors, and anything else you might want to reach in a hurry without getting out of the car.

As ACS says, “keep the non-essentials in the trunk and have the essentials upfront with you neatly packed away, but still within reach eliminating the need to get out of the Corvette!”

The Waterfall Compartment also doubles as a barrier between the cockpit and trunk, preventing loose items from flying forward and entering the cockpit if, say, you have to slam on the brakes suddenly.

It also still allows for storage of the removable roof panel in its usual location in the trunk.

Now for the technical information.

For $1,349, you can order the Waterfall Compartment in a dark grey primer finish, sanded and primed twice, ready for a body shop to final sand and color match to your car.

You can also get it with a Carbon Flash Metallic topcoat, the same color used on most C7 trim pieces such as the hood insert, front grill, and rear diffuser panel.

For an additional $200, you can choose your car’s tint-coat (Arctic White, Torch Red, Black, Watkins Glen Gray, Sebring Orange, and Racing Yellow) and have it shipped directly to you to match your car with no fuss at all. If you don’t see your color on the website, you can send an email to [email protected] and they’ll set it up for you. By the way, the painted waterfalls include a textured backing to match the trunk space.

You can also order a genuine GM C7 Badge in Chrome or Carbon Flash Black.

As ACS concludes, “travel in style on your next Corvette caravan, and keep your interior clean and organized with your Corvette essentials within arm’s reach.”
