[PIC] Face-Swapped C7 and C8 Corvettes Actually Look Pretty Good

Despite being so drastically different, the C7 and C8 Corvettes, in our opinion, are still obviously from the same Chevrolet lineage.

For proof, check out this rendering by Lukas Shepherd, a 14-year-old who lives in India.

This talented young man, who says he will “probably” become an automotive journalist and is a “huge cars and comics lover,” used software to swap out the front ends of the latest two generations of Corvettes, and we have to admit the results left us wondering which came first, the C7 or the C8.

At least in this rendering, we could see Chevy designers juxtaposing the front ends, and no one would likely have noticed.

While we prefer the actual way the cars originally left the Bowling Green factory, we could definitely live with Lukas’ interpretation. What about you?

    , ugly side scoops the C8 actually looks pretty good! Maybe GM designers should have taken cue from a talented 14 year old!

  3. This simply confirms that the leading edge of the midengine should have been tapered down, instead of appearing like a county snowplow , in my opinion. The C7 is a beautiful design in its original configuration.

  5. Nope the C7 front end looks terrible on the C8. The C7 needs all the help it can get when it sits next to a C8. As for the comments about the C8 side scoops, you all sound like a bunch of whining old men. It’s time to move out of the past and enjoy the future. C8 best Corvette yet.
