Today is Throwback Thursday where we like to feature vintage photos of Corvettes.
With the COVID-19 pandemic canceling or moving some of our favorite car shows, I decided to look at our archives to get a photo of the last show we attended. Of course, I’m being facetious with this vintage throwback from what I assume to be a car show in the 1950s, but it sure feels like it’s been that long!

Check out what we think is a Red 1955 Corvette with the three-carb setup on top of the V8 engine. We find it somewhat funny that even back then Corvette owners would erect a rope line around the car. You can look, but you can’t touch!
Parked next to the Vette is a lavender construction truck and it looks like they have some sort of showboard set-up on the front passenger-side wheel. It could be they are advertising for business.

HEMMINGS columnist wrote “”IS IT WORTH RISKING YOUR LIFE FOR A CAR SHOW ?”” depends of what kind of cars!
That truck directly across from the red Corvette looks like it might be the resurrected Rod & custom Magazine Dream Truck.
