Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.
Congratulations to Mike for his 43rd anniversary of selling the Chevrolet Corvette and other GM vehicles. It’s that kind of experience and longevity that Corvette buyers trust and why Mike delivers more Corvettes than any other Chevrolet sales rep in the country. This week’s post features several new deliveries of the 8th generation sports car as well as a few other models thrown in for good measure. Following the new ‘stuff’, Mike shares a collection of throwback and vintage Corvette photos for your viewing pleasure. Let us know which is your favorite in the comments below!

~Today is the start of my 43rd year selling GM vehicles…most importantly to me, America’s #1 Sports Car. As I look back it’s difficult to believe the decades and generations that have passed over those 43 years. The memories flood back when I look at different year Corvettes or run into Corvette folks all over the world. There are two phrases I hear all the time, I’m buying my first Corvette…and this is the last Corvette that I’m buying. The funny thing is, both come back for more. The old picture thread that I post (Barn finds and throwbacks) is dedicated to a gentleman from Harrisburg, PA named Frank Class. He had owned 50 Corvettes in his lifetime and still owned his first new Corvette, a 1957…when he had called me at the age of 75 years young. He said he wanted to buy his last Corvette. Every March I would get a call from him as he bought 5 years straight…his last Corvette. Finally one June I received a call from his daughter. She wanted me to know how much Frank (her Father) enjoyed my delivery posts with old car pictures etc…but that he had recently passed away. I gave her some advice on what to do with his car collection. Frank has been gone 5+ years now…but I remember him more than the 5 Corvettes that he bought from me. The memories last longer than cars. I enjoy the people you meet along the way and the journey to the Corvettes that they own make for great stories. The 8th Generation Corvette is alive and well and will be long after I’m gone.

C8 Deliveries…
~Gene I. of Rockville, MD factory ordered his Zeus Bronze 2020 Corvette Z51 and traded in his 2007 Convt. They drove up from their Winter home this past week in New Mexico just to take delivery! The 2LT Natural interior looks great with Zeus Bronze metallic.
~Robert and Claudia M. of China Grove, North Carolina placed a factory order for a Long Beach Red metallic 2020 Corvette Z51 coupe and took delivery at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. Super loaded 3LT with Black interior and spectra gray wheels.
~Ken S. Of Fort Washington, MD factory ordered his 4th Corvette, he still owns his 2002 Z06 which has over 200,000 miles on the odometer!! Yesterday he drove home in his Torch Red 2020 Corvette Z51 coupe. The adrenaline red interior and bright red calipers really pop on this Mid-engine Corvette. Ken brought his daughter and grandson with him.
~Good shot of Brad Paisley of Tenn taking delivery at the Museum.
