The annual Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation sweepstakes recently kicked off and this year’s prize is 2020 Corvette Stingray. For as little as $25 you could park the Torch Red, Z51-equipped C8 in your driveway. Option B is a $75,000 cash option should you decline the Stingray.

The Chip Miller Amyloidosis Foundation’s goal is to help people diagnosed with the disease and increase awareness for those that aren’t familiar with it. They aim to empower people with knowledge and an understanding of Amyloidosis in order to detect it earlier and create a path to a better quality of life for those afflicted with the disease as well as also help find a cure.

“I’ve been fortunate to grow up in and around the Corvette,” noted CMAF President Lance Miller. “The people that drive the cars are what make them so great! The all-new 2020 C8 Corvette is the best yet and I’m grateful we were able to get our hands on one of these amazing vehicles,” continued Miller. “I personally ordered this car exactly the way I’d get one for myself, one lucky winner will certainly be driving in style and knowing they helped an amazing cause – CMAF.”

Since Covid-19 has canceled many of the CAMF’s fundraisers, this raffle is likely to be their biggest income source for the year. Your support means more than ever in 2020. You can order your tickets via the CMAF website and there are number of options you can choose from. $25 will get you 3 tickets. $50 will get you 6 tickets + 1 bonus ticket, and it goes up from there. The high rollers can donate $2,500 in exchange for 375 tickets and another 150 bonus tickets.

The drawing will take place Saturday, August 29th at 4pm during Corvettes at Carlisle.

Chip Miller was one of the pioneers of our Corvette hobby and co-founder of the Corvettes at Carlisle event. He was diagnosed with Amyloidosis in 2003 and passed away from the disease in 2004.

Amyloidosis is a rare disease in which amyloid proteins deposit and accumulate in the body’s organs and tissue. Just 3,000 Amyloidosis cases are diagnosed in the United States each year. It affects middle-aged people and older. Men are more likely to be affected than women.
