With each passing day it seems like the C6 Corvette ZR1 has become the “forgotten icon” in Chevy’s performance portfolio. Once upon a time, the demand for the first supercharged Corvette was all-consuming, but just 10 years after its introduction, you can find low mileage examples at half of the car’s original MSRP of $113,000.
We recently came across this Cyber Gray 2009 Corvette ZR1 for sale on our local Tampa Bay Craigslist with the car being located about an hour north of us in Spring Hill, FL. The seller does himself a real disservice by not giving a detailed accounting of the car, but from the photos, we can see that it appears to be well taken care of with just 9,794 miles showing on the odometer.
The description of the craigslist ad reads:
“2009 ZR1 with 9,800 miles. No modifications. Brand new Continental tires and sensors as well. No disappointments. Excellent condition. $57,000 Firm.
Cyber Gray was a hot color in 2009 and 35% of the 1,415 Corvette ZR1s featured the unique metallic shade. This ZR1 is wearing a set of C6 Cup wheels in Black and as the description reads, they are wrapped in new rubber from Continental Tires. Other than that, what you are getting for the $57,000 price tag is a 638-hp rocket with a top speed of 205 mph. And did we mention the manual 6-speed transmission?
We doubt that you can find a better C6 ZR1 for the price so if you’re interested, contact the seller to find out more! At this price we don’t expect it to be around once the word gets out.
