Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for May 3rd

Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

Mike has some great new and old Corvette photos tee’d up on the green for us this Sunday and we think you’ll approve of this week’s Dispatch! We get to see a Torch Red Stingray Coupe delivered to the dealership while a Shadow Gray Coupe finally reaches its new owner down in Kansas. Over in Oregon our friend John from the MECF sent Mike more pics of his Black Z51 Coupe with the High Wing as it was being worked on at the detailer’s shop. For this week’s classic and vintage round-up, Mike shares a few more photos of Zora Arkus-Duntov and his wife Elfi Duntov.

~These posts I do every Sunday morning are for the pure enjoyment of every Corvette enthusiast including myself. I wouldn’t spend the number of hours that I do preparing, formulating, etc if it wasn’t fun for me. We are living through unprecedented times right now and everyone’s health is paramount. I tend to dwell on the positive as I truly don’t have enough time to think any other way. An old friend of mine from NJ (Tom Gibson) sent a NY Times/ Barron’s magazine automotive writer my way to interview me. Another friend of mine from Florida (Bill S.) was on the Ferrari chat line and shared a blurb from a Ferrari owner talking about the C8…

I am hearing remarks like the above Ferrari chat from every new C8 owner. Trust me, the C8 is well worth the wait! I can’t impress you enough that we will get through this.

*On another note, I now have an Instagram account corvette.furman. Never thought I would but we ended up getting a puppy and my son started an Instagram for him cavalier.sir.bailey. Bailey"Arkus"Furman is the new pup’s name so please follow if you have an Instagram account. corvette.furman will be all things Corvette, new and old…and cavalier.sir.bailey will be all about the pup through my son’s eyes. His therapy dog in his continued pursuit of returning to good health. Bailey’s magic will work wonders for Tyler just like Copper had the last 8 years since his accident.

~C8 deliveries this past week…

~John G. of Valrico, Florida just completed all the paperwork via Fed Ex, and Friday Plycar trucking loaded up his new Torch Red 2020 Corvette Stingray coupe. This is one cool Corvette with the two-tone Adrenaline Red/Black and microfiber inserts! Equipment list: 3LT pkg, red calipers, performance exhaust, CF Black painted wheels, and torch red seat belts.

~Fran of Barnes, Kansas factory ordered his new 2020 Corvette Z51 to be picked up at the Corvette Museum but the World events halted that plan. Fran had his new Corvette shipped from Bowling Green, KY, and will visit the Corvette Museum another time. The Shadow Gray metallic paint with the Natural dipped interior are a perfect match with the 5 trident spoke machined-face sterling silver wheels!

~John and Annie Elegant of Dallas, Oregon shared some great pictures of their new Black with two-tone Blue interior C8 Z51. Stunning to say the least. John is 1 of 3 founding owners of the midenginecorvetteforum.com and is a wealth of knowledge. He posts articles daily that are factual, accurate, and enjoyable. They had put their C8 deposit down with me in Feb 2015!

For the regular people, not famous or a YouTuber how far in advance did you put a deposit and submit your order in order to have a car now?
Asking for a friend Who put a deposit down last February and ordered the car in the beginning of August And it’s still only at a 3100 status.
