2020 Corvette's High Wing on Constraint Due to Supplier Closing for COVID-19

New 2020 Corvette production has paused as the nation hunkers down through the coronavirus pandemic. GM initially said they would close all North American production facilities through March 30th but now there are no firm return dates. Ford is planning to restart key plants as early as April 6th while Toyota has said they will resume production on April 20th.

Despite being shut down for the next few weeks, we received word that the popular High Wing for the 2020 Corvette has been placed on constraint due to supplier restrictions. This is for orders that still have a Target Production Week of April 20th and covers both Carbon Flash (5ZZ) and the painted (5ZU) versions.

We have heard through the grapevine (aka Facebook) that the High Week constraint is due to the supplier having shut down for COVID-19 so it doesn’t sound like this constraint will be long-lasting.
