It takes a mighty lowdown person to steal a little girl’s “Lightning McQueen” Corvette.
No, little Crawford Wilson isn’t talking about her rechargeable toy car. The “Lightning McQueen” in question is a real live Torch Red C7 Corvette Stingray that belongs to her dad, Matthew Wilson of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
“How could someone steal my car?” the little girl asked during a report on KNWA-TV news.
She’s become quite a social media hit after her dad posted this video, after returning home from work one day to find their beloved Stingray missing.
“She loved it,” Matthew says. “Yeah, yeah, it was her favorite thing. She always wanted me to put the car seat in the Vette and let’s go somewhere. Yeah, she loves it. She takes after her dad, I guess.”
Now he and Crawford are hoping the video will shame the thief into returning their prized car.
Maybe Mater can solve the crime if that doesn’t work.
