GeigerCars is a US car specialist in Germany with a special affinity for American cars such as the Chevrolet Corvette. We’ve featured their work a number of times over the years and they never disappoint. So when we heard about their latest Corvette project, we hit the interwebs to find out more from the Munich-based tuning shop.
With 2018 being the 65th Anniversary of the Corvette, Geiger recently went to work on Chevrolet’s latest special edition Corvette to celebrate the anniversary milestone, the Carbon 65 edition on the Corvette Z06.
The Carbon 65’s name is synonymous with Carbon Fiber and Geiger added even more of the lightweight material with a new carbon fiber front grill that includes air intake ducts on each side. The front spoiler and front tire splats are carbon fiber as well as Geiger’s sub-frame with a diffuser. New side skirts, side quarter vents, and HRE forged wheels complete the exterior.
Not content with the stock Z06 LT4’s 650 hp, Geigercars upgraded to a 2.3L supercharger to boost performance to 770-hp and 729 lb-ft of torque. The car is capable of 0-62 mph (0-100 KM/H) in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 209 mph (337 KM/H).
A roll bar and four-point safety harnesses were added to the Carbon 65’s otherwise stock interior.
