Registration Closes Soon for the 9th Annual Vets 'n Vettes Event at the Corvette Museum

Registration closes Tuesday, Oct. 24 for the 9th Annual Vets ‘n Vettes event presented by Mobil 1 at the National Corvette Museum.

The special event comes during November, which is Military Appreciation Month, and will recognize veterans and wounded warriors on Thursday, Nov. 2.

Veterans will be able to take complimentary rides that day around the NCM track at 505 Grimes Road (just off Porter Pike) in Bowling Green, Ky., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Central Time.

Even if you’re not a veteran, you can get in on the fun by giving rides around the track in your Corvette. Just register by Tuesday, Oct. 24.

Meanwhile, a Veterans luncheon, featuring a buffet meal that will be free to veterans and their spouse or guest, is planned in the track garages from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Luncheon guests are asked to RSVP by Friday, Oct. 27 with a call to Bryce Burklow at 270-777-4506.

Other fun activities include the NCM Kartplex, which will be open all day for $20 per session, with a $2 military discount for veterans showing ID.

The fun isn’t just on one day, though. American military veterans, along with police and firefighters, will receive free admission to the Museum during the whole month of November just by showing proof of service at the admissions counter. Their immediate accompanying family also gets in free.

The Museum is located at I-65, exit 28 in Bowling Green, KY and is open daily, 8am-5pm Central Time. Learn more about the Museum at www.corvettemuseum.org.
