Corvette Museum and Motorsports Park to Host Vets 'N Vettes in November

If it weren’t for our veterans, we wouldn’t be able to enjoy driving our Corvettes anywhere we want in the United States.

In appreciation of their outstanding service, the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky., will again be holding special activities for veterans as part of the 8th Annual Vets ‘n Vettes presented by Mobil 1.

The Military Appreciation Month festivities at the Museum include free admission for all American military veterans, police, and firefighters, along with their immediate family, during the whole month of November. Just show proof of service at the admissions counter.

In addition, veterans and wounded warriors will be honored during a special recognition day on Thursday, Nov. 3, when they can enjoy complimentary rides in Corvettes around the NCM Motorsports Park track from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Don Franklin Chevrolet GMC Buick of Somerset will hold a Veterans Luncheon at noon in the Conference Center of the Museum. Veterans and their spouse or guest will enjoy a free buffet meal, presentation of colors, wounded warriors from Fort Campbell and Fort Knox, and a special speaker. All they have to do is RSVP by Friday, Oct. 30 to Bryce Burklow at 270-777-4506, but hurry since space is limited.
