We came across these photos on the Corvette Forum of a customized Corvette Z06 and just had to share them. The work was performed by San Diego’s ACG Automotive and features many aftermarket upgrades from APR Performance..
If you’ve ever wanted to take a car to a shop and say “give it the works”, this is probably how it would turn out. This Corvette Z06 received a full cosmetic overhaul with APR Performance carbon fiber body parts which include a new front lip, wheel arch moldings, hood vent, quarter panel vents, side rockers, stage 3 spoiler with wicker bill and a rear diffuser.
With the car wrapped in satin black, the carbon fiber aerodynamic bits and the new vents really seem to pop and the cf weave is much more noticeable against the matte exterior than a stock glossy black. Another touch we like are the rear view mirrors are wrapped or finished in a carbon fiber design as well.
The stealthy Corvette is now riding on 19×10″ and 20×12″ Brixton Forged M53 wheels in a color described as “Brushed Matte Liquid Smoke”. Again, a very complimentary choice to this Z06. We especially like the wider spacing of the spokes on the forged wheels which shows off the Brembo calipers and huge carbon ceramic brake rotors that come with the Z07 Performance Package.
It wasn’t just the exterior that got overhauled. Inside, the car features a full carbon interior package. Under the hood is a Haltech Performance Intake and Vengeance provided a performance tune for the car.
