Lingenfelter Introduces New Widebody Performance Package for the C7 Corvette Stingray

With years of experience in creating impressive functional performance and styling packages for the Corvette, it’s no surprise that our friends at Lingenfelter Performance Engineering would be coming out with their own body styling package for the C7 Vette.

Just in time for SEMA, the folks at LPE are launching a new wide body styling kit along with a supercharger performance package for the Corvette Stingray.

“It’s a special edition for Corvette owners that desire a unique look with more power than the factory C7, while remaining well under the Z06 price point,” said Ken Lingenfelter, CEO, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering.

The widebody kit features flared rear quarter panels that add two inches to each side of the car. This allows the use of the Z06-sized 335/25ZR20 Continental Extreme Contact EW tires which are mounted on 20″ Forgeline wheels. The styling kit also contains a carbon fiber extractor hood, front splitter and rocker panels.

On the performance side of the equation, Lingenfelter has ramped up the LT1’s power to 624 horses with 600 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpms. That performance boost comes from Lingenfelter’s 6.2L engine package featuring an Edelbrock E-Force TVS2300 supercharger, Kooks headers and a CORSA Performance cat-back exhaust system.

“Our engineering experts have spent considerable effort perfecting this tuning package. This price point offers a happy medium for C7 owners who want more power along with the prestige of a special edition Lingenfelter package,” said Lingenfelter.

Lingenfelter branding includes chrome fender badges, an interior dash badge and a Lingenfelter-inscribed stainless engine badge. In addition, owners receive Lingenfelter’s official certificate of authenticity along with chassis dyno testing before/after installation with dyno graphs and video documenting the performance gains on USB drive. The package is backed by a one year/12,000 mile warranty on the added components.
