The latest chapter in Callaway Cars rich history of offering unrivaled Corvette performance has been written with the introduction of their flagship performance car, the Callaway Corvette Z06. Although the car officially made its debut at the 2015 National Corvette Museum’s Bash, today the company is pleased to announce the official performance figures for the Callaway Z06.
The Callaway Z06, armed with a 32% larger displacement supercharger over Chevrolet’s stock model, will produced 757 horsepower and 777 -lb-ft of torque. That translates to 0-60 mph of 2.8 seconds and a quarter mile time of 10.5 seconds at 131 mph!
Callaway’s engineers took a different path from Chevrolet when the Callaway Corvette Stingray was released last year by utilizing outside air flowing over the exposed top of the patent pending supercharger which helps keep the unit cooler than a unit that is covered by the hood. The Callaway Z06 maintains that design with their unique triple-element intercooler which reduces inlet air temperatures while heat from the exposed supercharger is inherently extracted from the engine compartment.
All that you need to know is that the Callaway Corvette Z06 will provide massive, consistent power – lap after lap!
