It’s Thursday and that means it’s ‘Constraint Day‘ for the first Corvette order cycle of March 2024. General Motors sent out a memo to its Chevy dealers listing the following items that either can’t be ordered or can only be ordered in limited fashion. These constraints affect just those orders being submitted today. If your dealer called your number this week, congratulations.

Corvettes For Sale: Would You Drop $360k on a New 2019 Corvette ZR1?

No lowball offers, serious buyers only, no tire-kickers, I know what I got! These phrases are so common in Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace ads – even/especially listings for cars that don’t warrant all of the posturing – that they’ve become a recurring joke on the automotive ‘net. But, every so often, someone steps up to the plate with an honest-to-goodness unicorn, a genuine white whale of a vehicle like the Corvette we’re featuring today. On top of being the absolute tip of the spear for front-engine American performance, wearing arguably the best color combination, and featuring all of the most desirable equipment, this almost too good to be true (can’t keep my eyes off of you), ‘Vette has just 7 miles!

It sure does seem like the decision to offer the C8 Corvette as a right-hand-drive model is paying off nicely. One of the markets doing well with C8 sales is Japan which last year saw 567 new Stingrays imported into the country. To keep that sales momentum going with the 2024s, Chevrolet Japan has announced two limited edition models that will be sold exclusively on the island nation.

These new limited editions are called “Edition CERV 1” and the “Heritage Edition” and both reach back into Corvette’s storied past for inspiration.

Is your Corvette protected with an extended warranty?

When purchasing a new Corvette, you may be tempted to also purchase an extended warranty. Because many new buyers purchase their Corvettes with the plan to own them long-term, extending the warranty makes a lot of sense if you’re planning on keeping your Corvette longer than the 3-year/36,000 limited warranty that comes on all new Chevrolets. After all, no one wants to be on the hook for mechanical repairs which can run thousands of dollars.
