Corvette program has set standard at 24 Hours for last two decades
DETROIT (June 10, 2019) – For the 20th straight year, Corvette Racing is set to take on the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Following a successful run on the Le Mans Test Day last weekend, endurance racing’s premier GT sports car team has put finishing touches on its preparations for a ninth class victory.

It seems a little early for Detroit’s Woodward Dream Cruise, but maybe someone on the Corvette team is just excited and wanted to get an early start. After all, good parking is a premium at the world’s largest automotive cruise.

After rendering the C8 Corvette Coupe and Hard Top Convertible models in his driveway, Chazcron is back to work on the interior of the C8 Corvette with an emphasis on the steering wheel, dash and center console.
Each week, Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvette Stingrays, Grand Sports, Z06s and ZR1s to his customers who come from all parts of the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.
The summer months are always busy for Mike and this week was no different as we see multiple buyers happily taking delivery of their new Corvettes! This week’s deliveries we see several new ZR1 customers receiving the keys to their 755-hp sports cars, and multiple deliveries of Z06s and Grand Sports are also contained within today’s post. Of course, Mike also has a great set of vintage and throwback photos, and he kicks it all off with some of his personal photos from his time at Malcolm Konner Chevy. Authorities in Allegan County, Michigan have issued a BOLO for a stolen White 1979 Corvette and the trailer it was parked on.
The trailer and car were taken on Wednesday, June 5th, sometime during the afternoon from the owner’s residence in Gun Plain Township.
General Motors’ new airless, puncture-proof tires won’t be on the upcoming mid-engine 2020 Corvette.
But don’t be surprised if these state-of-the-art, futuristic-looking tires show up on the 2024 model.
