It’s the long-awaited return of Quick Shifts! We would like to welcome you back after the longest content dry spell of the C8’s young life! The lack of direct media attention in the past two months obviously hasn’t hurt the mid-engine Corvette, but we are glad that our friends at the general automotive publications are back on the ‘Vette train.

The Carlisle Events team is beginning to reveal details about the 2021 Corvettes at Carlisle show. Recently they announced that they’ll be celebrating the silver anniversary of the 1996 Grand Sport Corvette. The C4’s final production year was the first time that that famous moniker had been used since 1963.

One of the retro touches on the C8 Corvettes are those Tonawanda Team #1 badges that are displayed on the driver’s side engine rocker cover. Tonawanda is the GM powertrain facility outside of Buffalo, NY that builds the LT2 V8s for the Chevy Corvette and it’s a nice way to salute the workers who create the heart of American’s favorite sports car.
