Late last week we learned that GM had taken a pre-production 2022 Corvette Stingray in the new Amplify Orange exterior to a Bowling Green mall on Thursday for a local job fair. Our friend Justin at the YouTube channel Horsepower Obsessed saw our initial post this afternoon with spy photos of the 2023 Corvette Z06 emerged from Germany as the car looks to be undergoing testing on the Nurburgring. He’s as excited as we are about these new photos and he makes some additional observations that align with what we think, so I wanted to share his video with you.

With the C8 Corvette Z06 recently announced as coming as a 2023 model, Chevy engineers are working hard to complete the development of the car. Of course, that means track testing which Chevy can do privately in the USA, but a trip to the Nurburgring means the car will have to appear in public.
Spy Photographer Brian Williams aka Speedbilde captured this nearly undisguised 2023 Corvette Z06 prototype as it was making the journey from the auto manufacturer’s garages to the Nurburgring. As the prototype Z06 was without the heaving black camouflage, we get one of the best looks yet at the new model.
