INFOGRAPHIC: How Corvette Buyers are Ordering the New Quad Center Exhaust

One of the big options offered to Corvette buyers has been the new Quad Center-Exit exhaust system, now available on the 2027 Stingray, Grand Sport, and Grand Sport X. Previously available to just the Z06 and higher HP variants, the new Quad Center exhaust is now available for the first time across the entire line up.

The new exhaust option is designated as WUB and it costs $1,995 to equip your Corvette with it.

There is no denying the sound coming from the LS6 is deep and full of character, and the exhaust’s sound quality is even more enhanced when the four exhaust ports are mounted together as opposed to being mounted on opposite corners as it comes in base form. Some owners have even suggested that not equipping your LS6 Corvette with the Quad Center exhaust is a $2,000 mistake.

Time will tell on that.

But it does bring up an interesting question about how Corvette buyers in 2027 are dealing with this new pricey option and how that factors into their builds. We also have to remember that some of these Stingrays and Grand Sports are dealer stock orders and so that would be another interesting tidbit of whether dealers are also ordering their 2027s with the optional exhaust.

To get these build numbers, we turned once again to GMBuildCounts.com to create the infographic. The site sorts by window stickers and provides an overall count of how many of those stickers have the WUB option.
