Be careful where you road rage as Big Brother is always watching.
That’s a lesson from a dash cam video that captured a red C6 Corvette involved in an apparent road rage incident with an Acura SUV at a Los Angeles area intersection on the morning of June 30. The clip shows the Corvette swerving toward the Acura as both vehicles merge into a left turn lane at Artesia Boulevard and Vermont Avenue in Gardena.
When the light turns red, the Corvette driver, dressed in a pink shirt and blue skirt, jumps out holding what appears to be a sharp object. She walks directly to the Acura and presses something into its right front tire, then returns to her car. The Acura driver gets out to confront her, but she drives off, appearing to run the red light and crossing in front of traffic to her right waiting to go straight. Neither driver has been identified.
The video quickly made its way to Reddit, where commenters didn’t hold back:
“She’s spent time in prison with those shanking abilities.”
“She was READY.”
One user, The_K_in_Klass, pointed out that California allows anyone to report dangerous drivers to the DMV: “Assuming this is in California, anyone can report road rage and unsafe drivers to the DMV. They would like to see this video… They love to mess with road ragers once they get them in the DMV offices for an ‘interview’ to see how these people react when provoked.”
Another commenter, Equal-Pause3349, wrote: “This woman needs her license taken away at the very least.”
Editorreilly added: “For those who roll with a dashcam. We salute you.”
Others expressed frustration with road rage culture itself. Zesty_Spaghetti_658 said: “I don’t understand what compels people to act this way. When you’re in traffic, take a breath, relax, for everyone’s sake and safety.”
Cyclist Milladelphia chimed in with a dark joke: “As a cyclist, I once thought a protected bike lane would keep me safe from these drivers, but now I think a separate, protected planet might be the best option.”
And Pioneer7765 noted the obvious: “At least we see her license plate number. I hope the info was turned over to the police or to the victim/driver.”
