Road Ragin’ Corvette Driver Sought for Shooting on Washington State Highway

The driver of a black C7 Corvette with black wheels is the subject of a police search in Washington state after a road rage shooting on a Seattle freeway last week.

Washington State Police are asking anyone who may have seen the incident that happened on northbound I-405 to SR 520 at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9 to get in touch with Detective Robert Goodin at [email protected].

The photo shown here isn’t the actual black Corvette that was involved in the incident, but Washington State Police say it’s similar.

Authorities say the black Corvette was traveling on northbound 405 at Northeast 8th in Seattle and sped up when another vehicle attempted to pass it on the right. The victim then changed lanes and pulled behind the Corvette, which brake-checked it. After exiting onto SR 520, someone in the Corvette fired a shot, making a hole in the hood of the victim’s vehicle. The Corvette kept on following the victim, periodically pointing a gun at them.

The victim, who was not injured, called 911 and was contacted by troopers off the freeway.
