Corvette Delivery Dispatch with National Corvette Seller Mike Furman for June 14

Criswell Chevrolet’s Mike Furman delivers new Corvettes to his customers who come from all across the country to work with the nation’s top individual Corvette seller.

~David Tsurusaki is a former Mobil 1 executive that I met at the 2011 Lemans race in France when I was a guest of Chevrolet. Over the years we have stayed in touch on most things Corvette related.

David reached out to me as he and his wife Karen would be coming from Apple Valley, Minnesota and visiting family in the Wash, DC area. David wanted to spec out a new 2027 Grand Sport ( his very first Corvette!) and what better way then to do it in person. Their granddaughter Kinslee accompanied them and listened intently on all the fine details. Back in 2015 I had given David a heads up about something Mobil 1 oil related with the Corvette oil caps and David was able to get it updated/changed within 90 days but that’s a story for another time. David was very appreciative and gifted me an oil drop trophy from Mobil 1 Racing, #59 of only 60 produced. This time, in recognition of my 7,000th Corvette delivery he brought with him a special gift from Tony and Michelle of “Mobil 1 Racing”. This is one very cool and rare Oil Drop Mobil 1 Race Team speed shape made in exposed weave carbon fiber…and it’s #4 of only 10 built!

Both of these trophy’s hold oil from the winning car of their respective Lemans races! David also gifted me a Mobil 1 golf shirt and pictures were taken to share with the current Mobil 1 executives. Many thanks to all involved and David, I look forward to seeing you take Museum delivery of your new 2027 Grand Sport late this Summer.

David and Karen have been fantastic supporters with Mobil 1 Racing items for a few of the charities that I have assisted over the years. They Rock and so do all the folks at Mobil 1 Racing. Mid July when I deliver my 7,000th Corvette, the trunk will have some special gifts from Mobil 1 Racing and other vendors. * Jeff Nowicki built and designed the Oil Drop trophy that Mobil 1 Racing gifted me. As mentioned, Jeff built only 10.

And I received #4! It is a Carbon fiber speed shape with 3D printed miniature LT engine filled with the exact oil from the 2023 LeMans winning GTLM Corvette.

~Daniel and Keira R. of Brandon, Mississippi have been following my Corvette stories for years and have had friends buy from me in the past. They spotted a Blade Silver 2026 Corvette Z06 convertible in my inventory on my corvette dedicated website. We made a deal over the phone and started the payment/paperwork process via Fed ex.

Today they flew in from Mississippi to complete the paperwork and tomorrow their special Corvette gets enclose shipped to their Brandon, Mississippi home. Equipment: 2LZ, GT2 buckets, stealth interior trim, front lift, bright red calipers, black exhaust tips, Black interior with red stitching and much more!

~Ed and Tim B. of Middletown, Maryland are Father and son and they just upped the stakes. On Monday Tim called me as he viewed this 1LZ Red Mist 2026 Z06 on my Corvette dedicated website. We made an appt for this morning. Within 1 hour I had their 2016 Corvette appraised, new Z06 cleaned and filled with gas, completed the finance department paperwork and went over their new Corvette before waving goodbye. They said that they had never done a car deal so swiftly and efficient in their entire car buying lives. I will call them in a few days and I’m sure they will still be wearing a perma-grin.
