Last week the official 2027 Corvette Grand Sport Configurator went live, but it was missing one important function: Pricing
Now, when you go to the Build and Buy Configurator at Chevrolet.com, you will still see the message “See Dealer for Pricing,” but once you start loading it with your choices and clicking through the screens, the pricing will magically appear.
Finally, we can now build AND price the C8 Grand Sport we’ve been dreaming about!
For my dream build, I started with a Grand Sport Convertible and picked the 3LT trim for the upcoming interior choice. After adding Blade Silver Metallic and the other exterior options which includes choice of wheels, brake caliper colors, roof style, and Grand Sport graphics, the price of my build finally appears at the top of the page.
For the interior, the Launch Edition in Santorini Dipped Blue interior was added and that automatically also added the Torch Red Seat Belts.
I’m already at $115K for the build and once I hit the Options tab, things get interesting very quickly! The Z52 Track Package balloons the price by $20,695 but adds the Carbon Flash ground effects, Carbon Ceramic brakes, and the Quad Center exhaust. But we’re not done yet!
The LS6 under the HTC’s tonneau needs to be seen, so the Convertible Engine Appearance Package is selected, as are the dealer-installed grille screens. Additional options include the Grand Sport Badges in Red, my mandatory Chrome Exterior Badge Package, Contoured cargo area liners, all-weather floor liners with Jake logo, a Personalized interior plaque, Stealth Interior Trim, Carbon Fiber interior trim, an Engine Specification Plaque, and Front Lift with Memory rounds out my choices.
I could still inflate the price even higher if I picked some of the add-ons like an exterior color with an extra charge, some really expensive wheels, or a branded car cover, but I wanted to keep this as build “as real as possible”, and so we’ll quit there with an MSRP now showing $139,485. That’s about $5,000 more than my well-appointed 2025 E-Ray Convertible 3LZ cost, and in the back of mind I’m still accounting for the $8,000 or so sales tax that will have to go to the State of Florida.
That’s a lot of cash for the Grand Sport and I can already hear those voices in my head saying, “for that price, you can get a Z06.” I could really cut the fat on this build by going with the Z52 Sport Package and more if I went with a 2LT trim package with a regular interior. By making those changes, the MSRP fell to $123,480.

We also heard from our friend Mike Furman this morning that pricing is also available to dealers now on GM’s internal Auto Book Pro which Chevy reps use to configure Corvettes.
As we have done previously, I’ll round up the other CorvetteBlogger contributors and get their dream builds. After we’ve shared them all, we’ll do a vote to see who gets kicked off the island!

If only you could get blue intake accents as well. Delete the fender hashes and add blue intake/trim accents–and that would be a VERY NICE looking spec. Black is just excessive accent, and red makes it over the top.
8 MY’s in, and we still can’t do accent colors on the trim. Just body color and carbon flash.

It’s nice that GS pricing can be seen. They fired several hundred data / tech people and it’s a shame that simple Stingray pricing isn’t even up.

One flaw in your statement. GS gets no additional HP bump over the 2027 SR. And the wider tires will prove to be of no performance benefit because of the M/R layout. Just wait; the results will speak for themselves.
Posers are more than welcome to spend 40 grand on glorifying their SR to look like a Z06; many actually will. Genius move on GM’s part to cater to those who have been clamoring for the GS since 2020. Now they can sell you all of the bits/bobs on the Z06–without any of the performance/sound; and charge you nearly 2020 base SR price as an upcharge to your 2027 SR to do so.
Any bets on how long it will take for the first production GSX to actually roll off the assembly line–let alone be delivered to a customer? I’m gonna go with November at the earliest. GM has already screwed AWD fans for 3 years. Half-a-year pause between AWD production cycles…is par for the course.

Ha. In 1971 I applied “polyglycoat” to new Chevys at the Chevy dealer when I worked summers in the new car prep dept. The dealer add on scam goes back over 50 years.
They changed pricing again today.
Hey Keith, two of the Phoenix area.Corvette high sales dealers already have told me to expect a minimum of $50,000 for their Dealer Greed.ADM to both Grand Sport coupes and convertibles, with probably 75 to 100 thousand over MSRP for the Grand Sport X when it’s finally shipping out of Bowling Green. Chevrolet doesn’t care what their stores do for Corvette Greediness! Its just money
