Bathed in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic, this 2016 Corvette Z06 coupe looks perfectly at home against the sun-baked backdrop of Scottsdale, Arizona. After 38,000 carefully kept miles, its original owner is finally ready to hand the keys to the next caretaker — and he’s offering one of the rarest C7 color/interior combinations ever built.
According to the Corvette Black Book, only 251 Z06s were finished in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic, and the seller says just 26 paired it with the 3LZ Kalahari interior. That alone makes this car special. But rarity is only part of the story.
This Z06 checks all the boxes enthusiasts look for:
• 650 hp LT4 supercharged V8
• 8 speed automatic transmission
• Top-of-the-line 3LZ Premium Equipment Group
• Garage kept, hand washed, never tracked
• Dealer serviced with full records
• No accidents
• Front and side PPF
• Carfax available
The seller describes it as a “properly kept Z06,” and the maintenance list backs that up. Tires have been rotated recently, and the car has lived a pampered life — no smoking, no abuse, no shortcuts.
Even well loved cars pick up a few stories along the way, though. The owner reports light curb rash above the rear wheels, a small surface scratch on the passenger door, and some discoloration on the transparent roof panel. Unfortunately, the OEM carbon fiber roof was damaged when it wasn’t latched — it’s included with the sale and noted on the Carfax. Nothing here affects drivability, and all issues are cosmetic.
Inside, the Z06 is loaded:
• Napa leather seats in Kalahari
• Sueded microfiber upper trim
• Heated and ventilated seats
• Head Up Display
• Performance Data Recorder with Navigation
• Apple CarPlay
• Premium surround audio
• Front curb view cameras
A tasteful rear diffuser has been added as well.
The seller is also offering several high end accessories:
• Uniden R7 radar detector (optional)
• Escort M2 dash cam (optional)
• Soler Performance throttle controller (optional)
• Premium sun screen
• California Car Duster
• Airmoto tire inflator
• NOCO Boost X jump starter
• Owner’s manual
The asking price on Craigslist is $68,000, which seems competitive for the equipment and condition of this car.

My 16 Z51 Stingray is Daytona Sunrise Orange and I love it. DSOM has a lot of metallic in it and it really sparkles in the sun. Everyone who’s seen it and commented on it has told me they like the color. I don’t know about these guys that drive their Corvettes with the roof panel unlatched. How is it even possible to sit in the car and not notice the long latches sticking out in the open position?
