Today as I was moving a couple of vehicles around in the vast CorvetteBlogger Corvette collection, my 2025 E-Ray notified me of a new Over-the-Air update available. After the update was completed, I went back to read the notes and it was for the failed rear turn signal notifications.

Chevrolet originally said that just 438 Corvettes from 2025 were caught up in the recall, but I suspect it was more than that as I have an early build (VIN 131) and the problem spilled over to 2026 Corvettes as well.

But an OTA update makes everything right again. Should I have a rear turn signal that does goes out, I’m expecting to be notified via the driver information center instead of another driver calling me inconsiderate for not signaling when clearly an attempt was made.

If your 2025 or 2026 Corvette was suffering from this issue, it looks like GM has the fix ready to go. You can always check to see if your Corvette is subject to any recalls via your MyChevrolet app or by vising the GM Recalls website at: https://experience.gm.com/ownercenter/recalls.
