We have our Day 2 photos from the National Corvette Museum’s Michelin NCM Bash ready for your review. Friday was blast as there was so much to see and plenty of people to talk to and connect with.

We started off the day with the annual MidEngineCorvetteForum.com’s breakfast and we were joined by some special friends including Harlan Charles and Kirk Bennion. Before heading to the Museum, I made a quick stop over at the Corvette Assembly plant to stock up on some new “plant” images that we’ll use for stories throughout the summer. Check out all those C8s in the back ready to ship!

Once at the NCM, we made a point to walk through the Museum to take in the new displays and check out some of the cars. We ran into our friend Paul Koerner who was hosting a workshop on C8 maintenance in the Chevrolet theater and then made sure to pay our respects to the Neil Armstrong Corvette on display in the Skydome.

During the day, the Hall of Fame inductees were announced. We also witnessed a donation of a Warbonnet Yellow 1973 Corvette to the Museum’s collection.

Speaking of collections, another highlight on Friday was a trip over to the Collections building where we were able to go inside to see the massive 66,000 square-foot facility and hear the plans for how all that space would be utilized. We were also able to sign one of the interior walls that will eventually be the “Donor’s Wall” once it’s completed.

And of course, we still have plenty of interesting Corvettes that we found in the parking lot.
