The annual Michelin NCM Bash at the National Corvette Museum is one of our favorite shows to attend each year. We get to see the newest Corvette models on display for Corvette enthusiasts, and it provides an opportunity to connect with friends and vendors who come from all over America to be at the show.
Today’s photo dump is called Day 1 but I am actually throwing some in from the Wednesday load-in day.
Obviously the focus for the 2026 Bash is the new 2027 Corvette Grand Sport and we’ve got a bunch of photos showcasing the different options available on the newest C8 Corvette to enter the lineup.
Thursday’s Bash was also the start of the seminars, and we attended the two big ones for the day: the NCM Membership meeting with new board chairman Michael LaRocca and the Corvette Assembly Plant update hosted by director Ray Theriault.
The first day of this year’s bash was heavily attended and we understand that about 1,200 members and enthusiasts are registered for the show. If you are on the fence about making the drive to the show, we can tell you it’s totally worth the trip.
It’s been great seeing all the familiar faces and I appreciate each of you that comes up to me to say hi during the event. You are the reason for why we’ve been doing this now for 20 years. For those who can’t attend the Bash, I hope you enjoy these photos.

Was the yellow ‘66 coupe shown in the NCM’s delivery hall being donated?
I’m the 66 owner and was doing an NCM Experience delivery. I’ll likely donate it but hopefully that will be way in the future.
I looked this car over myself while at the event. Pure envy!
