[VIDEO] Driven to Preserve: NCM Member Preview Presentation

The National Corvette Museum launched their latest exhibit this week called “Driven to Preserve” which allows visitors to see how the museum’s experts preserve and protect the Corvettes and other historical artifacts within their growing collection.

The NCM hosted a Member’s Preview of this exhibit which features 12 historic Corvettes, various artifacts, and shows off the new interactive displays to educate and engage visitors about its preservation efforts.

The Driven to Preserve exhibition has several key goals:

Curate a selection of artifacts that represent the broad range of the museum’s collection, including items not typically seen by visitors.
Display several cars in the Limited Engagement Gallery to reduce the number of objects that need to be moved during the upcoming relocation to the new collections building.
Educate visitors about the processes and work involved in preserving the collection.
Promote interest and excitement for tours and engagement with the new NCM Collections building.
