Another day, another ZR1 video from Hennessey Performance!

Today’s content is about dyno testing as they get some baseline numbers on their stock twin-turbo ZR1. Previously we’ve seen some big numbers come from the LT7 so will this Black ZR1 overperform here as well? Paragon Performance was the first to put the new King of the Hill on the dyno and the results were crazy with the Hysteria Purple ZR1 Coupe generating 1,028.60 hp at the rear wheels! The factory rated torque is 829 but their ZR1 did 839.85 lb-ft of torque!

Hennessey’s ZR1 currently has nearly 2,000 miles now showing on the odometer, so the car is well broken in. This video is only two minutes in length, and it shows the car being driven onto the dyno. The screen changes from the speedometer to the rear wheels and after a short warm up, it’s game on. I had to watch the video twice, but this dyno run started at 45 mph in 5th gear and the car stayed in 5th gear all the way until the speedometer hit the redline at 168 mph!

I was just going to leave it there and not spoil the results, but then the chart came up. Once again, the ZR1 shows amazing power with the Dynojet chart showing max power of 1,050.76 hp at the rear wheels and 821.25 lb-ft of torque. As one of the commentors said, “When they said 1064-hp, I didn’t realize it was to the wheels!
