A recent Distribution Update on the 2026 Corvette Order Guide turned us on to a new options package offered by Chevrolet for the 2026 Corvette Stingray. Chevrolet has bundled several different options together to create the Stingray Protection Package which retails for $1,195.
Here is what options are included and how much you can save by ordering them together as a package.
The Stingray Protection Package includes these three LPO Options:
• (VWE) Black honeycomb-design front radiator grille screens
• (STI) Black composite rocker extensions
• (VQK) Black front and rear splash guards
The Order Guide shows it available across all three of the Stingray’s Trim Packages for both Coupe and Convertible models with these two exceptions:
1 – Not available with (5V7) Black Ground Effects, LPO.
2 – Not available with 5V7, 5VM, 5W8.
The PCU Stingray Protection Package retails for $1,195 when ordered with your new 2026 Corvette and you can find it at the top of the Options tab on the Build and Buy Configurator under Packages. If you were to order these separately, the combined three options would retail for $1,405. So you are saving $210 by going with the package.
As Corvette buyers take the protection of their dream cars pretty seriously, this Stingray Protection Package should be under consideration for those who want that protection on Day 1 of ownership when you take delivery instead of relying on aftermarket parts once the car is received. SHOULD add a clear PPF paint protection package. I’d buy it
They should absolutely add the PPF paint pro as an option. I’d get it in a heartbeat.
This is not a new pkg. I actually ordered it for my 2026 back in June. BUT, while it showed on my workbench order sheet, it didnt come in. I got charged ala carte for the rocker extensions and splash guards. I had to complain and got a gift certificate from Chevy that I applied to buying the screens. Then this week, my salesperson tells me the PCU pkg was discontinued. Clueless salespeople. We Corvette people should be selling these cars. Many of these salespeople are worthless.
The radiator grille screens are a joke; they don’t cover the center grille opening like the aftermarket ones do for a tenth of the price.
I was in a store two weeks ago and they tried to put this option in my order for a Z51 and it was not working. Is it fixed now? Can you prove it?
For TAK and George, mNo dealer is proficient enough for me to trust them doing a PPF job. The factory certainly wants no part of that either.
For C1TOC8 – I had the side radiator grill inserts added by the dealer in November ‘ 22 at delivery. Is there a center grill cover? I’m not aware of that.
Should be standard.
Funny how they can take things that should be standard and charge an extra thousand bucks for it.
IPD, GM is learning the Porsche lesson – another few years from now will be interesting.
It’s new for 2026. Chevy just didn’t say anything about it during the new model rollout.
Does anyone able to tell me how to remove carpet piece to get to rear fuse box under carpet support?
