Chevrolet is still making changes to its Corvette options for the 2026 model year.

Recently, we learned that the 2026 Stingray would be getting a new base wheel featuring the newer 5-split Spoke design in Pearl Nickel. The previous base wheel was the Bright Silver-painted 5-Open-Spoke wheel (Q8P) which had been the default choice on the Stingray since its reveal in 2020. Now another wheel for the Stingray will be headed for the exits once the 2025 models are completed.

The updates were recently noted on the 2026 Corvette Order Guide. Also being deleted for the 2026 model year are the (Q8Q) Carbon Flash-painted 5-Open-Spoke Wheels with Machined Edge (shown above). That change now completely eliminates the 5-Open-Spoke wheel designs from the Stingray moving forward.

Despite the deletions, Chevrolet is still offering three different wheel designs and nine different finishes for the Stingray when you also include the optional LPO wheels. The wheel options for the 2026 Corvette Stingray include the following:

  • Four versions of the 5-Split-Spoke wheel offered in Pearl Nickel (QEB), Gloss Black (QE5), Sterling Silver-painted (Q9Y), and Satin Graphite with machined edge (Q90)
  • Three version of the 20-Spoke wheel offered in Bright machined-face (Q99), Midnight Gray with Red stripe (Q9A), and Gloss Black (Q9I).
  • LPO 20-spoke Tech Bronze aluminum wheel (5DG)
  • LPO 15-Spoke Bright Polished wheel (5D0)

The Q8Q Carbon Flash 5-Open-Spoke Wheels were the most popular on the Stingray in 2024 with them appearing on 7,448 total Stingrays (24%), while the base Q8P Bright Silver-painted 5-Open-Spoke Wheel was second with 7,087 total installs for 22.9%. So this is a pretty significant change to delete a wheel design that was chosen by nearly half of all Stingray buyers last year.
