[VIDEO] EddieX Takes His Wife for a Drive in the 1,064-hp Corvette ZR1

Here’s a pretty fun video with Eddie X and his wife out for a nice drive in a 2025 Corvette ZR1. It’s one I saw a few weeks back when I may have in Carlisle or the NCM and always meant to come back to it.

This video is pretty epic for a number of reasons, most notably that Mrs.X is able to keep her lunch down as Eddie fully explores the ZR1’s power and quick shifting ability. We saw that during the official Chevy Ride and Drive with the ZR1 at COTA that being a passenger in this car may not be all that it’s cracked up to be as at least two YouTubers threw up from motion sickness. Throw in the fact that the top is down on this supercar and her hair is flying all over the place and it becomes one of those moments that you find out if you really like the person you are married to.

But she comes through it just fine while also offering some funny banter from the passenger seat. Meanwhile, we think Eddie will have a hard time adjusting to his Z06 after this fun drive!

You have your wife, the keys to a 1064 horsepower Corvette ZR1, what do you do? Well, you take her for a scenic drive and get her reaction to the utterly ballistic ZR1. Angel was an absolute trooper braving the g-forces and brutal power of the ZR1, hope this video puts a smile on your face and make sure you check out my full review of the C8 ZR1!
