[VIDEO] After Living With His C8 Z06 for Two Years, EddieX Drives a 2025 Corvette Stingray Convertible

YouTuber EddieX has been driving his C8 Corvette Z06 for a couple years now, and we know from watching just how much he loves everything about it, from the high-revving naturally-aspirated V8 power to the powerful sound that comes from the quad-center exhaust. So how would he feel now about driving a 2025 Corvette Stingray Convertible? We find out in this next video.

Eddie tells us he was out in Scottsdale, Arizona and was provided a 2025 Corvette Stingray Convertible equipped with the 495-hp LT2 V8 engine and outfitted in the new Hysteria Purple Metallic with a Sky Cool Gray interior. With a 3LT trim package, the car was loaded with an MSRP that he says was $100,000.

One of the first things that EddieX does while in Scottsdale it to take in a local cars & coffee gathering, where he encountered some amazing vehicles like a McLaren P1 and a Lamborghini Revuelto.

Another cool sequence during the video is a night drive on a very curvy two-lane road. While EddieX may have been missing his 670-hp Z06, the C8 Corvette Stingray had no problem in carving those corners and the LT2 provides an exciting soundtrack in its own right. Eddie has the car in Track Mode so we stay mesmerized in watching the gears and speed of the car. The night drive shows the cabin lit up with the small lights illuminating all the controls on the doors, steering wheel and center console. Seeing the Great Wall of Buttons lit up at night has always been a welcoming sight.

The HardTop Convertible that Eddie was driving was also equipped with the Engine Appearance Package, and it’s the first time I’ve seen one that has the new Engine Specs Plaque attached:

So, another solid review from EddieX showing how much fun and practical the C8 Corvette Stingray Convertibles are, especially when you live in a climate that offers convertible driving weather for a significant part of the year.
