Driving a Corvette means having to sacrifice some things, like having enough room for more than two passengers.
We know back in the day, some owners still stuffed their kids in the rear compartment, though authorities might not look too kindly on that now.
No such problem, however, for this customized 1964 Corvette coupe that now includes two seats added in the back. It doesn’t look like much room, but still seems comparable to a Camaro.
Believe it or not, they apparently did it without stretching the car the way customizers did recently for NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal’s C8 Z06, so the roof lines aren’t distorted.
That doesn’t mean the body of this restomod – being offered for $70,000 on Facebook Marketplace out of Madison Heights, Wisconsin – wasn’t modified.
The seller says the parking lights have been shaved, the front fender louvers smoothed out, the fender peaks made rounder, the spine removed from the roof and rear deck, and a Riveria-style tail light treatment, a big-block hood from a ’65-’66, and rear bumpers with reverse lights added.
The drivetrain has also been updated with a 350 V8 engine and a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission.
Other features include Vintage Air climate control, power brakes, power steering, power windows, aftermarket radio with rear speakers, side pipes, reproduction knock-off wheels and red-line radial Diamondback 205/75R15 tires.

I like this car
I either like or can live with everything done with this car, except those tail lights. Ugh.
If it had been done in 1980 or 81,I’d have bought it just so my 2 little kids didn’t have to lay under the back window of those 2 Vettes. Of course neither of those young adults fit anywhere in my C 8 Z51 but the passenger seat now.
A “Corsche”.
