[VIDEO] National Corvette Museum Inducts the Corvette Hall of Fame for 2025

During the 31st Anniversary Celebration at the National Corvette Museum, the newest class into the Corvette Hall of Fame was welcomed with their official induction ceremony. Joining the Corvette Hall of Fame is Kim Baker, Chuck Jordan, and Jim & Charley Robertson.

The Corvette Hall of Fame represents the pinnacle of excellence and it’s the highest honor that can be awarded for those whose have helped shape the legacy of the car. Just 89 members have been inducted in its 27 years with those chosen from three categories representing Racing, General Motors/Chevrolet, and Corvette Enthusiasts.

The celebration for the Corvette Hall of Fame took place on August 30th at the Southern Kentucky Performance Arts Center (SKYPAC). The stage was once again set up with these significant cars from each of the three categories. The Racing category was represented by a C4 Corvette Challenge Racer, the GM/Chevy entry was highlighted by the Corvette Indy Concept while the third Corvette was a C7 Coupe nicknamed “Sebring” to represent the Enthusiast category.

(RACING) Kim Baker – The C4 Era’s Endurance Powerhouse:

Kim Baker cemented Corvette’s place in SCCA endurance racing history. After launching his career in Western Massachusetts, Baker founded Bakeracing and dominated the SCCA Endurance Championship with consecutive national titles in 1986 and 1987. As a former Corvette test driver and partner with Goodyear, Baker fine-tuned Corvette performance to unprecedented levels. So much so, his team’s dominance led to Corvette being banned from competition in 1988. Baker later helped test the ZR-1 and was part of the world-record-setting ZR-1 team with Tommy Morrison, making him a pivotal figure in C4 Corvette performance legacy.

(GM/CHEVY) Chuck Jordan – A Visionary Who Designed the Future:

Chuck Jordan’s 43-year design career at General Motors began under Harley Earl and reached its peak when he became VP of Design in 1986. His contributions included Cadillac’s iconic tailfins, styling the 1958 Corvette, and a portfolio that influenced the first five Corvette generations. Jordan led GM’s design renaissance and influenced futuristic Corvette concepts like the Corvette Indy, CERV III, and Stingray III. Beyond his corporate legacy, Jordan’s passion endured through mentoring future designers after retirement. His impact on Corvette design continues to inspire innovation across the industry.

(ENTHUSIAST) Jim & Charley Robertson – The Heartbeat of Corvette Racing Fans:

If you’ve been to a Corvette Racing paddock, you’ve likely seen Jim and Charley Robertson in action. Known for their energy, generosity, and behind-the-scenes support, this dynamic duo has helped build the Corvette Racing fan community from the ground up. From organizing pit tours to running auctions that support both the Museum and local charities, the Robertsons are a vital link between fans, team members, and the broader Corvette world. Their efforts have turned everyday fans into lifelong ambassadors of the brand.

2025 Corvette Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

It really is humbling to be at the NCM Corvette Hall of Fame ceremony and surrounded by so many great people who have contributed to the Corvette over its 70 years. The Hall of Fame reminds us of all those men and women who contributed to the story of Corvette over the years, and we were glad to be there as three new members are now included.

The Corvette Hall of Fame now has a dedicated space located inside the National Corvette Museum, and it has been totally updated so that you can easily click on of the interactive displays to learn more about that member and can watch their induction video as well.

This year, the Corvette Hall of Fame also saw the return of Zora’s 1974 Corvette that recently underwent some work to help better preserve the car for future generations to enjoy.
