Today is the 20th Anniversary of CorvetteBlogger.com

I’ve often been told that I don’t toot my own horn enough, but I have always subscribed to the motto that “The Car is the Star.” I am usually more than happy to work away in the background while the spotlight shines on the content, not the personality.

But today is a remarkable milestone for me as CorvetteBlogger.com turns 20 years old! It was August 22, 2005 that I officially registered the CorvetteBlogger.com domain name. I actually started blogging on August 5th to test the waters and see if it was something I was willing to try. Apparently, I was happy enough with the results to continue on.

TWENTY YEARS!

It seems like I’ve been doing this forever, and the truth is that I’ve been online longer than most with my first website dedicated to my 1966 Corvette going live in the fall of 1995. Following that, my classified ads website VetteFinders.com was launched in February 1996.

I wanted to thank my writers for all their hard work and dedication, and I appreciate all those who have answered my questions or slid me some info to share with all of you. Too many people to name (and some don’t want to be named), but I do so much want to thank all of you for this wonderful ride.

CorvetteBlogger has opened a lot of doors for me and it has given me a sense of purpose in my life. I hope those of you who follow us have been entertained and educated with our articles over the years. It’s the best job in the world being your CorvetteBlogger and I have no intentions of slowing down anytime soon.
