We’re not expecting a full Chevrolet order cycle to start up in May until the 15th, but that doesn’t mean that Chevrolet doesn’t have any extra cars to dole out to dealers.
Our understanding is that Chevrolet provided some additional Z06 allocations to its top dealers yesterday and that these extra allocations (or stimies as a friend calls them) came without any constraints. That was welcome news as we are hoping that these cars could be ordered with full aero as well as available in the two discontinued colors for 2026, Sea Wolf Gray and Rapid Blue.
This is the second week in a row that additional Z06 allocations have been granted to dealers outside of a regular order cycle.
Now that that interior has leaked for the 2026 models, we’ve heard from a couple of buyers who were hoping to get one of those final allocations for a 2025. According to a Chevrolet dealers memo, we are looking at just one more full order cycle for the 2025 model year coming this month. Allocations should be available on May 15th with the order bank opening up on May 22nd.
I’m guessing after that final 2025 order cycle which concludes on May 27th is when we’ll start to get some additional details for the 2026 model year, which includes any price increases and the 2026 Order Guide. Ordering for the 2026 Corvettes starts June 26th and production is slated to being on Monday, August 4th.

On a related note, the first 2025 Corvette ZR1s were completed this week. Mr. Hendrick’s 2025 ZR1 VIN 001 was said to have been finished on Tuesday so hopefully there will not be a long quality hold before its released.
