Corvette owners are known for going to great lengths to protect the paint on their cars. On the C8 Corvette, you simply replace four T15 screws within each of the front wheel wells and one under the front splitter with the supplied T15 screws that have special heads that the mask snaps on to.
Once the hardware is in place, open the frunk and stretch the mask into place with the snaps securing it on each side, and then use the two clips which anchors the top of the mask inside the frunk. Close the frunk and you are done! You are still able to access your frunk, however, the mask does cover the front parking cameras.
For those who reside in a state that mandates front license plates, the front mask allows the license plate to be installed on top of the mask by piercing the fabric with the mounting screws. This method ensures the plate can be clearly seen while also keeping the material from developing a run due to the mounting screws.
