Our friends in Canada will soon to be headed to the polls to vote for their next prime minister and one of those in the running is Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre. I’ll confess to not knowing too much about what is happening day by day in this election, but this video just popped up on our radar featuring a Corvette Z06. Usually, we would shy away from a pure political post, but it’s Canada, eh!
On April 5th, Pierre and his wife Anna did a test drive of a Riptide Blue C8 Corvette Z06 at the Aera 27 Motorsports Park in Oliver British Columbia, and this quick video offers a nice recap from the event.
Area 27 Motorsports Park is a classic Grand Prix course which opened back in 2016 and it was designed by legendary driver Jacques Villeneuve. It’s 3 miles in length and features 16 turns and 357 feet of elevation changes during the lap. The track is sponsored by Chevrolet and they offer a Camaro Driving Academy and a ZR2 off-road experience with Chevy Trucks.

Looks to me like the in-car video clips starting at 0.52 and 1.01 have been sped up to make it appear that Mr. Poilievre was driving much faster than he actually was, as the clips from outside the car show it travelling much slower.
I have watched many of his videos in the past couple of years. He would definitely be the candidate I would vote for if I were Canadian.
If anyone wears the label “conservative” get away from them! They are likely as dumb as any Trumper. Yuck!
