Dennis Collins of Coffee Walk fame found so many Corvettes last year that he couldn’t remember exactly how many.

“39 Corvettes or 35, what was the number?” he asks his buddy Alex in the latest episode – No. 347 – of his YouTube show.

Alex confirms it was 35, but alas, Collins & Crew have picked up exactly zero Corvettes so far in 2025.

That is, until just lately when they hit the jackpot in south Texas, where they bought a collection of nine Corvettes from the same person – ranging from a C1 to several C3s and even a C4 ZR-1.

There were so many Corvettes, in fact, that they had to be housed in two separate buildings, with the first three being all matching-numbers – a white over blue automatic ’74 convertible, a red over tan four-speed ’70 convertible, and an orange over black ’74 convertible.

After working hard to load those Corvettes, it was on to the next building in another town, located “literally in the middle of nowhere,” as Dennis puts it, where they found seven more Corvettes, with one of them – a black ’75 convertible – staying behind with the current owner.

But Dennis found plenty of other cars that he did buy, including a black over red automatic ’60, an Admiral Blue over tan C4 ZR-1 coupe, a red over red two-top automatic ’75 convertible with an L48 engine with headers, a yellow over black ’77 T-top coupe, a white over black two-top ’68 four-speed convertible, and a white over red two-top ’75 convertible.

“This is gonna keep the shop busy,” Dennis quips. “Now all we have to do is get ‘em on the trailers.”

Not necessarily an easy task, especially in the rain for the ZR-1, which with the traction control off meant Dennis had one chance only to make it onto the rollback or it will be “an epic fail,” he warns.

We’ll let you watch the video to see if his worries were warranted.

  1. I love watching Dennis’s videos when he rescues Corvettes! This one had some nice ones for barn finds.

  2. I said it before, I’ll say it again,
Dennis should have a TV program.
Always fun to watch him and his men.

Oh, and yeah, one more thing, when it comes to cash, Dennis must be strong.
But there is no doubt his stomach must be stronger; it has to be made of iron. I get heartburn just watching him eat.

  3. Great video, as usual!

I take it that the white ’74 convertible that Dennis uncovered first has had its rear rubber bumper cover replaced at some point with a later style, as I didn’t see a seam down the middle. Made me think it might have actually been a ’75 until he showed us the door sticker with an 05/74 build date.
