Dennis Collins of the Coffee Walk channel on YouTube is back with another vintage Corvette find, his first of the new year after finding 39 ‘Vettes in 2024.

And his latest is a doozy of a survivor, a 1964 Ermine White convertible with a white top and red interior that has had just three owners over the past 61 years!

He bought it from the guy who’s owned it since 1987 – and subsequently drove it for only 1,500 of the 48,000 miles on the odometer today.

Now, Dennis is trying to sell it on Bring a Trailer, where the current bid is $37,500 with two days left in the auction.

Sold new by Good Chevrolet in Alameda, California, the car eventually found its way to the second and third owners who lived near that original dealership. In fact, Dennis found it in Livermore, which is just 32 miles away.

“To me, I would much rather have this than a restored ’64,” Dennis says in his latest YouTube post that features the car and some other vehicles he’s trying to sell.

“We’re not claiming it’s a 100% survivor because it has had some exhaust work” and a new repro radiator, he says.

But the originality extends way down to things like the four headlights, which are the original T3 bulbs that still work; the white canvas top that has a 1964 date code; and all four tires, with two of them apparently dating to 1964 and two others back to 1967. (Yes, we know you shouldn’t drive on them because of safety reasons, but can you believe they’re still on this Corvette!?)

“The car was presented to us as original paint,” Dennis says, “and I believe it is original paint. You look everywhere on the car and you see some lacquer cracking and checking, but you gotta look close. It’s still very presentable.”

Likewise, the body is “incredible,” he says, and the chassis ranks as “one of the best we’ve ever seen – the bottom of this car is truly amazing.”

Mechanically, all his helper Alex had to do was minor stuff like changing the fuel sending unit, all the rubber, and fuel lines, and rebuilding the factory fuel pump, while noting that the aftermarket pumps are not very reliable.

Under the hood, the originality continues with the 327/300 horsepower numbers-matching engine still in place and connected to the numbers-matching four-speed manual transmission and original rear end.

The red interior rates as “just unbelievable,” Dennis says. “All we had to do was just a major detail.”

All in all, just a trip back in time to 1964. Would you like to climb aboard?
