It’s hard to believe it’s been two years since the first Z06s came out, but then again, it feels like the C8 Z06 has been out forever!
YouTuber EddieX was among the group of auto journalists who first tested the Z06, and he loved it so much that he put an order for what would be his first Corvette. Eddie says that as an auto reviewer, the highest compliment you can give by is spending your own hard-earned money on a car you reviewed. For EddieX, that car was the C8 Z06 with its mid-engine design and flat-plane crank V8 engine.
Eddie has owned the 2023 Corvette Z06 for two years now, and for this new video, he breaks down what it’s like to own this amazing sports car for over that time. He also breaks down some of the costs he has incurred during his ownership, which includes Paint Protection Film (PPF) and new wheels and tires. One of the things he changed almost immediately on the car was switching the wheels from the Z07’s Cup2Rs to the standard Pilot Sport 4S tires for better wear and street driving.
From EddieX via YouTube:
Somehow 2 years of C8 Z06 ownership has flown by! I took delivery of my 2023 Corvette Z06 back in December of 2022, down at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. Since then I have quite enjoyed owning this masterpiece of American engineering. Join me as we take the car out for the final drive of the year and do a recap and update on what it has been like to own!
