Is the Class of 2026’s No. 1 high school quarterback sending a secret message with the color of his new C8 Corvette?
Jared Curtis, a five-star quarterback who’s the No. 5 overall recruit in his class, shared a photo showing the Torch Red Corvette coupe he apparently purchased with the money he’s already earned from NIL.
Curtis originally committed to coach Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs in March 2024 but pulled back that decision in October amid visits to other powerhouses like Alabama and Ohio State. Now, the Tennessee resident says it’s between Georgia and Oregon.

Based on the red Stingray he just picked up, could that be a hint he’s leaning toward the Red and Black of the Bulldogs?
The 6-4, 225-lb. quarterback led his Nashville Christian School team to a DII-A state championship as a junior last fall.

sounds like he is one Smart kid…… Go Dawgs
Smart? Smart would have been investing it into real estate or similar–just in case he doesn’t make it to the NFL.
NFL may make financial literacy courses mandatory for rookies–but there is nothing for the youth capitalizing on the dumb NIL system and transfer portal. And if you blow out your knee after 1 semester–impulse buys are going to come back to haunt you.
