With all the news out there about General Motors and Jack Cooper ending their nearly 100-year working relationship, we can understand that many of you whose Corvettes have been built or are in the process of being built may be feeling some uncertainty as to the status of shipping.
Well, my friends, we do have some great news to share.
We reached out to the Corvette Assembly Plant, and they put us in touch with a Chevrolet representative who confirmed that Corvettes resumed shipping as of Saturday. “Corvettes are shipping again. We resumed shipping over the weekend,” he said.
Another friend who lives in Bowling Green tells us they saw Corvettes being shipped on an auto transport today as well.
Last week, Jack Cooper pressed General Motors for a new contract after their second largest client Ford ended their contract early. GM pulled their new vehicles off Jack Cooper’s trucks on Thursday, and on Saturday GM announced they are implementing their contingency plans for shipping on other carriers.
It’s nice to know that GM had those contingency plans in place and that they were activated as soon as it became apparent that no new contract with Jack Cooper would be reached.

I ordered a Z06 in November. Still waiting.
Wow glad you fired all those drivers not caring no warning thanks so much for that ..I hope you companies goes under
I am almost certain GM’s decision had nothing to do with the shipping company, Jack Cooper, being Woman Owned and it’s employees being represented by a Union.
Who is new carrier?
Obviously Jack Cooper priced themselves right outta business
