Ever wonder what it would be like to be part of the Corvette Racing team? Now you can through a joint venture between the NCM Motorsports Park and Pratt Miller Motorsports.

Coming this October is the first Corvette Racing Fantasy Camp that will bring together racing enthusiasts with some of the top minds on the Pratt Miller racing team for an immersive experience. Learn about prepping a car for a race, the technology that provides the crew with insights, and unlocking the data captured during the race. Participants will also participate in pit stops and on-track driving experiences as well.

Greg Waldron, president of the National Corvette Museum’s Motorsports Park made the announcement of the Corvette Fantasy Camp this morning during a seminar in the Corvette Corral at the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Greg was joined by Corvette Racing ambassador Wes Wong in making the official announcement.

According to the initial plans, these Corvette Racing Fantasy Camps will take place beginning in October with the first planned for October 22nd. Participants (campers?) will arrive the day before for a dinner at the National Corvette Museum’s Skydome, before undergoing the immersive experience on Wednesday, October 22nd. The class will be limited to 28 with the different sessions broken out in groups of fours.

In attendance will be crew members and drivers from the Pratt Miller MS Corvette Racing team who will cover their respective jobs, and everyone will get the opportunity for a hot lap by a Corvette Racing driver at the Motorsports Park track. Participants will be able to drive one of the NCM’s C8 Corvettes on the autocross course, and you’ll also get to drive the C8 Corvette for lead/follow laps on the East Track.

The NCM Motorsports Park already has the details for the Pratt Miller Fantasy Camp and registration is open for the first class. The cost to participate is $3,180 for each person.
