When Chevrolet first revealed the 2025 Corvette ZR1, it was accompanied by a disclaimer saying the car will be available in 2025. We are still waiting for pricing on America’s newest supercar, but now at least we have a better idea of when ordering will start.
This news comes from our friend Rick ‘Corvette’ Conti and I have his entire video on the subject listed below.
Rick says this news comes from the official Chevrolet communication that was relayed this morning along with allocations and initial constraints. According to that “dealer deck” of info, the first ZR1 consensus (allocations) and ordering will begin in February, which probably means that production would probably kick off a few weeks later in March. And just like Z06 and E-Ray, there will be a ramp up as the fourth C8 model fits into regular production.
With the first ordering of the ZR1s happening in February, Rick believes it is most likely that GM will put out the price schedule in January. He also is waiting for whatever allocation methodology will be used to distribute the ZR1 to dealers, although dealers these days have very little control over whatever they may be.
Rick also addresses what the expected supply will be like. After all, some GM team members have stated they would like to build as many as possible. While that’s a great goal, we have also seen as recently as this November 2024 Order Cycle that carbon fiber aero for the Z06 still remains on constraint. And with all the visible carbon fiber that comes with the ZR1, that could be one of the issues the causes a bottleneck in production.

Price range is about what I expected. In July my guess was January 2025 for start of production. So, I wasn’t too far off.
