An October tradition returns this weekend as the Lingenfelter Collection opens their doors to the general public for their annual Fall Open House. The doors open at 10am and festivities run to until 5pm. Check out roughly 150 cars from one of the world’s greatest car collections while helping support the Pink Fund.
The Pink Fund provides 90-days of non-medical financial support to breast cancer patients actively in treatment. They help to cover health insurance premiums, housing, transportation which allows patients to focus on healing, raising families, and returning to the workplace instead of worrying about the financial implications of the disease. During the 2023-2024 fiscal year they donated $1.2 million.
At-will donations are collected at the door with 100% of the day’s proceeds going directly to the Pink Fund. In addition to seeing the cars, Lingenfelter and Corvette swag will be available for sale as well.
Here’s short conversation with Ken Lingenfelter and Molly MacDonald talking about Saturday’s event.
The Lingenfelter Collection is an eclectic grouping of 150- 200 muscle cars, Corvettes, and hot rods. The cars are as diverse as the crowd that attends. When you’re done inside, be sure wander the parking areas along the street outside and check out all the cool rides that show up to each open house. It’s basically a whole separate car show of its own.
The Lingenfelter Collection Fall Open House will take place this Saturday from 10am – 5pm. The Collection is located at 7819 Lochlin Drive, Brighton, MI. For more information call 248-486-5342 or visit www.TheLingenfelterCollection.com.
