[VIDEO] Watch People React to Being Launched in a 2024 Corvette E-Ray

If you have spent any amount of time on YouTube, you are probably aware of the “reaction video” where the host listens or watches something for the first time and then “reacts” to it. Most of these are usually older songs or artists that younger YouTubers were not aware of, but our friend Mike of the Brink of Speed YouTube Channel offers up a slightly different twist on the category.

In this new video, Mike offers up the reactions by everyday people with most being non-Corvette owners experiencing the 0-60 mph launch of the All-Wheel Drive 2024 Corvette E-Ray for the first time. With its combination of the 495-hp LT2 V8 engine powering the rear wheels while an independent 160-hp electric motor provides power to the front wheels, the Corvette E-Ray with a combined 655-hp is currently the “quickest” model available, and it is capable of traveling 0-60 MPH in just 2.5 seconds.

What we like best about these are the genuine smiles and giggles from each of the participants who experience the E-Ray’s launch. After each of the launches, Mike reads off what the on-board timer is showing and most of these quick sprints are happening between 2.3 and 2.5 seconds.
