The 36th Annual Classic Corvette Raffle benefiting Saint Bernard Catholic Church in Rockport, IN will be ending on Sunday, August 18th as the winning raffle ticket will be drawn at the annual Summer Social event at 3:00 pm CDT. The winner will take home a beautiful Nassau Blue 1966 Corvette Sting Ray Convertible, and you do not need to be present to win.
This is a true raffle with a maximum of 18,000 tickets offered. Raffle tickets start at $30 each or four (4) for $100. In addition to the Corvette Grand Prize, there will also be drawings for two cash prizes of $1,000 and $500. Click here to order your tickets before it’s too late!
The Grand Prize 1966 Corvette Convertible is powered by the numbers matching L79 327/350 HP V-8 coupled to a four-speed manual transmission. In addition to the fresh Nassau Blue exterior, this Sting Ray Convertible has a white interior with restored seats, new black carpet, and a new white convertible soft top. Options include power steering, side exhaust, seat belts, AM/FM stereo, and knock-off wheels wrapped in Goldline radial tires. The Corvette was purchased from Mershon’s World of Cars in Ohio.
This annual fundraising program by Saint Bernard Catholic Church is an all-volunteer effort by the local parishioners in the southern Indiana town. The Classic Corvette Raffle provides much needed funds for the Church’s school and daycare programs in Rockport. Your raffle ticket purchase will help the kids of Saint Bernard school with funds for school operations, activities, and more.

I used to have one similar to it… It was all silver outside AND matching all silver inside (including dashboard coves, carpeting, seatbelts, etc. ~ ALL silver!… ‘Very rare!
It was powered by a 327/350HP connected to a wide-ratio 4-speed. The folding top was black.
‘What I wouldn’t give to have it today ~ over a half-century later! Thanks for all that you do for the ever-expanding world of C2 lovers.
